Emergency First Aid at Work for Forestry level 3 course 1 day.

We are now delivering this course as a "Blended" course, which basically means you now do the "Theory" element online and then spend only half day with instructor for the "practical" element. Please see the "Emergency First Aid at Work for Forestry level 3 Blended course" page for more details. 

Our level 3 courses are available in Sheffield, South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire and Nationwide for individuals, groups and businesses.

This course is available as a ProTrainings CPD certified qualification, all courses are delivered, evaluated and quality assured to meet the new guidelines set out by the HSE in October 2013 and meet the requirements of the First Aid at Work (First Aid) regulations 1981 and subsequent 2017 changes.

Also included to comply with the latest HSE and ERC guidelines, are Tourniquets and Haemostatic dressings.

All our first aid courses fully meet the UK and European Resuscitation Council Guidelines 2015 as per the HSE requirements. ProTrainings Vocational Training Qualifications (VTQ) are fully recognised by the HSE as Trade Body Qualifications.

This version of the EFAW course includes the extra subjects required by the Forestry Commission to include extra subjects covered include severe cuts like chainsaws, crush injuries, Hypothermia and Lyme Disease.

 

This course is delivered using a variety of teaching methods which include DVD, Powerpoint presentations, lecture and discussions as well as hands on practice.

This ensures that candidates enjoy their course and helps them to retain information so that when they have completed the course they are competent and confident to deal with an emergency situation should it arise.

Why not add AED Automated External Defibrillation

The AED Course can be added to the this course, AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators) are becoming more commonplace, you will find them at airports, shopping centres and some businesses.

There is proof that early defibrillation will dramatically improve a persons chance of survival in the case of sudden cardiac arrest.
