Emergency First Aid at Work for Forestry level 3 Blended course

The Blended course is very popular from our feedback, because you do the online part in your own time and at your own pace, and then only spend 3 hours (half a day) with the instructor. So by reducing the face to face time with the instructor, this is safer from a covid-19 position, but also reduces cost for employers and self employed as you spend less time away from work.

The online element is basically the theory part of the course, and involves watching about 3 hours of videos with a COMPULSORY test a the end of the last video. You watch the videos in your own time and at your own pace. The videos can be rewound or fast forwarded and will return to the last video watched each time you log back on, so do not have to be watched all in one go. You MUST pass this test which completes the online element, BEFORE attending the practical element , and you MUST attend the practical element within 3 weeks of completing the online element. You will need internet access to do the online element  but can use phone, tablet, laptop or pc.

The practical element is basically the practical "hands on" part of the Blend course, which is now reduced to 3 hours.

The two parts together then become the level 3 qualification , which is then  recognised by HSE.

To do this Blended course , you need to decide which is the best date for you to attend the practical element, and that is the date we put on iour course dates, then email or ring us to book on, then we can send you a link to get onto the "online part." You can also book on using the yellow widgets on the course dates page.

We invoice you for the practical element only. You pay separately online, for the online part when you first log on. So the course cost for the Practical element is only for this.
